Raymond Heung, Trustee
Born in Hong Kong, Raymond came to Canada to attend University in 1966. After receiving his Bachelor of Commerce degree, he completed his graduate degrees in M.A (Economics) and M.Sc. (Urban Land Economics) from UBC in the early 1970’s.
He worked for Daon Development Corp. in the later part of the 1970’s. He founded Vanac Development Corp in 1982, and has been the company’s President ever since. Between 1998 and 2005, he also served as President and CEO of Madison Pacific Properties Inc., a public commercial real estate company based in Vancouver, B.C.
Raymond is a past member of the Real Estate Institute of BC. He has been engaged in the acquisition, development and management of commercial real estate for close to forty years.
In 2024, Raymond received Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, from Capilano University.
Raymond and his wife Terry Heung, are Trustees of the Y. P. Heung Foundation.

Stanley Hamilton, Advisor
Stanley is a Professor Emeritus at the Sauder School of Business, where he taught and conducted research in real estate valuation and institutional investments and served in a number of senior administrator roles at UBC.
Throughout his career he has been engaged in community activities including the boards of Children’s Aid Society of Vancouver, Vancouver Stock Exchange, B.C. Assessment Authority, Vancouver City Planning Commission, Arts Club Theatre Company, and BC Arts Council. He has also served on the advisory committees of the Public Guardian and Trustee of B.C., the Real Estate Foundation of B.C., Bentall Kennedy Prime Canadian Property Fund, and the Financial Services Tribunal of B.C.
In 2017, Dr. Stanley Hamilton received the Order of British Columbia and in 2020, he was appointed as a Member of the Order of Canada for his contributions to business education in Canada and abroad, and for supporting Vancouver's arts scene. Stanley presently serves on the board of Ballet BC, chair of the BC Financial Services Authority and chair of the Wicekaskosiw Sahkahikan Askiwi-Pimiy Heritage Trust Fund (Onion Lake Trust Fund).
Stanley joined the Y.P. Heung Foundation Board of Advisors in 2012.

Malcolm Leitch, Advisor
Malcolm is a retired real estate executive. Until recently, he was a Managing Partner with BentallGreenOak, one of the world’s leading institutional real estate investment management firms. He received his BCom from UBC in 1979, and his CA in 1981, after which he spent three years working in public practice in London, England. In 1987 he joined Penreal Advisors Ltd., a small real estate start-up based in Vancouver with $100m in assets. As an equity partner in the firm, he saw the company grow, evolve, and recently become BentallGreenOak with C$78b in investments. He also served on its Global Executive Team until stepping back, effective July 2021. When he retired, he was responsible for a large portion of the Canadian investment management business.
In addition to coaching his children’s hockey and baseball teams, Malcolm has served on the boards of non-profit organizations in the health and education spheres. He was most recently on the board and served as Chair (2014–2018) of the Looking Glass Foundation, which assists people impacted by eating disorders. Malcolm continues to be involved with a number of boards of directors and investment committees within the BentallGreenOak group of companies.
Malcolm joined the Y. P. Heung Foundation Board of Advisors in 2021.
