Y. P. Heung Post Secondary Awards

Launched in 2019, **Y. P. Heung Foundation Post-Secondary Awards** seek to encourage and support students entering full-time programs in nine post-secondary institutions in the Lower Mainland. As tuition fees rise and general affordability becomes an increasing challenge in major urban centers, we need to give students a leg up. By helping students close the gap of inequality, we hope to enhance the economic performance of the overall community. Funded annually, these awards are given on the basis of academic excellence, community engagement, and financial need. We have also ensured that awards are given to Indigenous students each year at each institution.
